You may feel at risk, unsafe, or extremely vulnerable. If the trauma has not been treated, processed, and resolved, it will bubble up at unexpected times. ![]() Speaking of connections to unpack, a large chunk of today’s adults have endured at least one traumatic event in their lifetime. It requires professional guidance to unpack such connections. Depression can lay a foundation for “sudden” anger. If they become chronic and manifest in episodes of rage, something much bigger may be happening. It’s far easier to act out than to open up about feelings like:Īll of these emotions can be normal in certain contexts. Unrecognized DepressionĪnger may be an outward expression of what you’re feeling inside. Thus, rather than “no reason,” you’ve now undercover a very logical culprit. You may also feel anxious.Īnxiety is the most common mental health issue in the world. You feel nervous, vulnerable, and pissed off.
